As a young adult cancer survivor, you've been through
a lot! As a result, you are wiser and stronger today.
To make your future as healthy as possible, know about
your long-term risks and get skills to take action.

SURVIVOR ALERT is a nationwide awareness initiative offering information, links to many resources, and recommendations for action for young adult cancer survivors and the health professionals who treat them. Our message is simple: Know about survivorship issues and do the right things to stay as healthy as possible. Want to do an event to spread this important message to other survivors? Check out our toolkit and free materials!

SURVIVOR ALERT was inspired by A Lion in the House, a documentary series on the childhood cancer experience. The film, which first aired on Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) stations in June 2006, was awarded a 2007 primetime Emmy Award for "Exceptional Merit in Nonfiction Filmmaking."
