"Bearing Witness to Cancer" is a first-of-its-kind undergraduate course designed to educate pre-medical students about the cancer experience. Includes biology, epidemiology and social science, as well as personal memoirs. The goal is to enhance the sensitivity of future practitioners to the broad bio-psychosocial needs of cancer patients.
